The Salt Museum, Pomorie

The Salt Museum in Pomorie was opened in 2002 with financial support of the European Union. It is only in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe specialized museum for the production of salt by solar evaporation of sea-water.

The museum tracing history of salt producing in region from the ancient times. It has a unique collection of photos from XX-th century, old topographical maps, models and authentic salt equipment and instruments.
