The National Gallery for Foreign Art, Sofia

Description

The National Gallery for Foreign Art in Sofia was opened on 5 November 1985. It is housed in the reconstructed building of the old State Printing House designed by the Vienna architect Friedrich Schwanberg. The gallery is disposed in 19 rooms (four floors) at total exhibition area around 3,200 m2. There are exhibited over 10,000 items - graphic works, paintings, sculptures, fine arts.
